Community ARt Workshops
Arts VanGo Community Art Workshops are a time when all artists can come together and create! Each will have a specific theme and lesson, and friends, artists, families, and community members are encouraged to drop in the workshop for any or all of the two hours!
All workshops are held at the Haymarket Museum (15025 Washington Street, Haymarket, VA), from 1:00-3:00pm.
$5- 3-12 year-old-artists
$12- artists ages 12+
$25- family
May 31st- I See a Song: Learn about abstract art and synesthesia, while creating paintings inspired by music!
June 14th- Meet the Masters- Van Gogh: Learn about Van Gogh and get the opportunity to jump into some of his most famous paintings. Then create your own unique version of his Starry Night.

About us.
Arts VanGo was created in 2022, in Haymarket, VA, with the mission to make arts education available to artists of all ages and abilities. With the belief that art brings us together, and allows us all to speak the same language, our Founder launched Arts VanGo after realizing the need for high-quality, and affordable art experiences outside of a formal school setting.

Our workshops.
Arts VanGo workshops are created for artists of all ages and abilities. Our artists have included adults, homeschool groups, play date friends, families that want to create art together, ambitious young artists wanting a more private instructional setting, special larger-scale events, scout groups, and preschool groups interested in finding programs to further their education.
Pick one workshop, create a series of workshops for your artists to enjoy, or work with us to create a custom experience built around your artist’s interests.

Volunteer with Arts Vango
Are you interested in the arts? Do you like working with children? Are you a high school student that needs service hours? Apply today to become an Arts VanGo volunteer!
We need volunteers in the following areas:
Community Outreach Events- help us create art with the public at local Farmers Markets and community art shows.
Birthday Parties- assist a Lead Instructor at artist birthday parties.
Social Media- if you are techy and create great videos and posts, we want your help!
Behind the Scenes prep work- help us get ready for our large events.
All volunteers must be 15 years old or better, have a reliable form of transportation, like art, and be kind!

National Portrait Gallery
Washington, DC
Join us for a FREE Art Studio at the National Portrait Gallery and help us celebrate Asian American Heritage Month. Artists will learn about and create mandalas! Pop in any time from 1:00-4:00pm.
Artist Studio workshops are always free, and created for artists of all ages and abilities. No registration required.
