Our parties include 90 minutes of instruction time, and start at $60 per artist. Choose from the following activities for your next get together!

I See a Song- Artists will visually interpret songs by tapping into their senses and attempting to experience synesthesia. We will warm up by creating small visualizations of short songs, and end with a larger 11x14 painting of Gershwin’s, Rhapsody in Blue.

Portrait of a Moment- Using different collage materials, artists will create a portrait of a specific moment in time. They may choose to represent a special time in their family’s life, or a particularly tough time they were able to overcome. Participants can bring in personal photographs, if they’d like to add them to their collage.

Textured Abstraction- Using items such as bubble wrap, balled foil, kitchen tools, and sponges to paint, artists will create a large scale textured painting. They will be able to add finer details to draw out images found in their abstractions.

Calming Watercolors- Artists can take the moment to relax with the calming effect of watercolors. They will create a wax resist of concentric circles using different watercolor techniques.
