Artists (ages 8-12) can spend their morning off from school meeting other art friends! The workshop will start with fun art games and icebreakers, and then transition into our art lesson for the day- Meet the Masters: Picasso. Artists will learn about the famous artist, study some of his works, and then create a self-portrait in his Cubist style.

Artists will be introduced to famous inventors, and will create an invention to help solve a problem, sketch it, and sculpt it using recycled materials. Art Apprentice Program: Comic-Con

This is a four week series for artists in grades 5-8. We will meet every Wednesday (April 8th - April 29th) from 4:30 - 6:00pm.

Artists will learn about comics, and create their own. They will fine tune drawing techniques, learn about color theory, and study the history of comics. They will also use language art skills when writing their comics.

Take the stress off of you and have your artist make a handmade gift for Teacher Appreciation Week (May 4th-8th)!

This is a pre-registration drop-in workshop for artists of all ages and abilities. You can bring your artist to The Studio any time from 6:00 - 8:00pm (project takes about 30-45 minutes). Each artist will make a stain-glass inspired candle holder and a hand-written note for their teacher. Battery-operated tea light included.
