Classes for baby artists 1-2 years-old and their caregivers. These workshops provide early art exposure for children while giving caregivers the chance to socialize and create their village!

Classes at The Studio
Community Art Workshop
Pop in The Studio and help us with our large scale work of art using plastic bottles to mimic Chihuly’s blown glass flowers. Please note the the larger work of art will stay in The Studio; participants will be able to bring home smaller pieces that they create.
Community Art Workshops are a time for artists of all ages and abilities to come together and create! They are great for families, friends, or just yourself. Drop in for all or any of the two hours, and leave with a unique work of art and some new friends!

Game On Summer Camp
This is a half-day camp (9:00am - 12:00pm) that runs Monday-Friday.
Rising 4th - 8th grade artists will have to opportunity to create their own analogue games. We’ll start the week by playing some games and talking about their different gaming elements. Then artists will create their own game, play test it with their peers, and design the packaging!

Saturday Morning Classes: Coral Reefs
We’re talking about the importance of protecting our ocean during this Saturday Morning Class. Artists in grades K-3 will learn about our ocean and the ecosystems that reside within it. They will create a mixed-media coral reef.

Saturday Morning Classes: Meet the Masters: Kahlo
Artists is grades 4-8 will learn about Frida Kahlo and create a self portrait in her style.

Art Explorers Summer Camp
Children ages 4-5 will have the opportunity to discover art and sound. They will be introduced to multiple instruments, learn new art techniques, and explore their world through music and art!
This camp is a collaboration with Bluebell Music Studio, with music instructor Lauren Noble.

Art Attack Summer Camp
This is a half-day camp (9:00am - 12:00pm) that runs Monday-Friday.
Rising 1st - 3rd grade artists will have the opportunity to dive into the art world, and explore a multitude of different mediums. From self-portraits, making rain sticks, learning watercolor techniques, and collaging… we’ll conquer it all!

Saturday Morning Classes: I Love Me
We are celebrating our artists! Artists in grades K-3 will create portraits and sculpture that celebrate them being their wonderfully unique selves!
$36 per artist
Adaptive Art Studio
Artists will learn about synesthesia, and envision songs. Each artist will leave the workshop with an 11×14 canvas with their visual interpretation of a song!

Wearable Art Summer Camp
This is a half-day camp (from 9:00am - 12:00pm) that runs Monday-Friday.
Rising 4th - 8th grade artists will be able to design their own wearable art. We’ll start with some history of fashion design and look at examples of current and past fashion designers who are changing the game and introducing artistic pieces to their collections. Artists will spend time sketching and designing, before constructing their own wearable work of art!

Summer Pop Up: Print and Play
Let’s learn all about print making! Artists in grades 4-8 will study some of the famous Japanese print makers and create their own print out of a rubber block!

Summer Pop Up: Little Hands Workshop
Artists in grades pre-K-2nd will get the chance to read about a one-of-a-kind elephant, an artist who covered everything in dots, and learn that art exists everywhere! They will spend their morning creating three different art projects that go along with each story.

Join us for a morning of relaxing watercolors. Artists in grades 3-5 will have the opportunity to learn different watercolor techniques, and then use them to create a large-scale water color painting.

Artists (in grades 4-8) will be introduced to Yayoi Kusama. They will work on a round canvas to create a work of art using dots and line patterns.
$36 per artist
School's Out / Art's In
Artists (grades K-5) can spend their afternoon off from school meeting other art friends! The workshop will start with fun art games and icebreakers, and then transition into our art lesson for the day- Abstract Sculpture. Artists will create a 3-dimensional work of art inspired by some of art history's most famous abstract sculptors.

These workshops provide early art exposure for children (ages 1-2 years old) while giving caregivers the chance to socialize and create their village! Let your kiddos have fun exploring different art mediums, while you relax, chat, and make new friends!

Colors of the Market
Let’s celebrate Spring with an en-plein-air art event! Colors of the Market is a drop in workshop, at The Studio, and we’ll paint the Haymarket Farmers Market!
If you have your own supplies there is no cost to come create with us.

Artists (grades 1-5) can spend their morning off from school meeting other art friends! The workshop will start with fun art games and icebreakers, and then transition into our art lesson for the day- Eat and Draw. Artists will learn about the famous Dutch masters, create their own still life, draw it, and then enjoy eating it!

Open Studios are FREE EVENTS for artists of all ages and abilities. Bring a project you are working on, and create around like-minded artists.
