These classes emphasize creative choice, process-based art making, and personalized support to meet each artist where they are in an encouraging environment that values self-expression and artistic growth. We invite you to join us at The Studio for an afternoon of crafting and creating with like-minded individuals! Come meet the local art community, bring a project you are working on, and leave with new friends!

Mini & Me- On a Roll
Mini & Me are classes for our littlest artists (1-2 years old) and a caregiver. They are all about early art exposure and giving your artists space to make a mess!
During this workshop, artists will get to create a painting with different objects that roll! (All objects are safe for our baby artists!)

Homeschool Workshop- I See a Song (grades K-3)
Homeschool Workshops are a time for the local homeschool community to come together and create. They are always held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, and are for artists of all different grades levels.
During this workshop, artists in grades K-3 will turn songs into abstract works of art.

Little Artist Workshops are for artists (ages 3-5) and their caregiver! Together you will create a one-of-a-kind work of art, after reading a children’s book!

Community Art Workshops are an opportunity for artists of all ages and abilities to come together and create at The Studio. You can pop in for any or all of the two hours. These are great for families, friends, or just yourself to take some time to create in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
During this workshop, we will create beautiful prints using fruits and vegetables.

During this workshop, artists in grades K-3 will learn about the famous inventor Leonardo da Vinci, and create a prototype of an invention they will create to help solve a problem!

Art Apprentice Program- Meet the Masters (K-3)
This is a four week after school series of classes. We will meet every Tuesday (10/6 - 10/27) from 5:30 - 6:30pm at The Studio.
Artists in grades K-3 will learn about different masters from art history. They will spend some time studying the famous artwork, and then get to create their own art in that master’s style!
Our Art Apprentice Program is for our artists who want to continue to grow and strengthen their fine art skills. This particular series will focus on drawing and painting techniques, art history, scale, and elements of landscape art.

During this workshop, artists in grades 4-8 will be introduced to American artist Alexander Calder. We will learn about kinetic energy and then the artists will create their own mobiles.

Artists in grades K-5, will have a morning filled with all things prehistoric. We’ll create our own dino-ramas, and end the workshop with an volcanic eruption!

This is a four week after school series of classes. We will meet every Tuesday (11/10 - 12/1) from 5:30 - 6:30pm at The Studio.
Artists in grades 6-10 will learn about the foundations of drawing. We will focus specifically on the human figure.
Our Art Apprentice Program is for our artists who want to continue to grow and strengthen their fine art skills. This particular series will focus on drawing and shading, art history, and portraiture.

During this workshop, artists in grades 4-8 will be introduced to the poetry of Maya Angelou. They will illustrate one of Angelou’s poems, and create a poem inspired by her writing.

Art Apprentice Program- Rewriting Art History (grades 4-8)
This is a four week after school series of classes. We will meet every Tuesday (9/8 - 9/29) from 5:30 - 6:30pm at The Studio.
Artists in grades 4-8 will learn about the masters of art history. They will pick a work of art from the traditional canon of art, and recreate it, bringing it into the 21st Century.
Our Art Apprentice Program is for our artists who want to continue to grow and strengthen their fine art skills. This particular series will focus on drawing and painting techniques, color theory, and art history.

Art Explorers Summer Camp
Children ages 4-5 will have the opportunity to discover art and sound. They will be introduced to multiple instruments, learn new art techniques, and explore their world through music and art!
This camp is a collaboration with Bluebell Music Studio, with music instructor Lauren Noble.

Saturday Morning Classes: Coral Reefs
We’re talking about the importance of protecting our ocean during this Saturday Morning Class. Artists in grades K-3 will learn about our ocean and the ecosystems that reside within it. They will create a mixed-media coral reef.

Game On Summer Camp
This is a half-day camp (9:00am - 12:00pm) that runs Monday-Friday.
Rising 4th - 8th grade artists will have to opportunity to create their own analogue games. We’ll start the week by playing some games and talking about their different gaming elements. Then artists will create their own game, play test it with their peers, and design the packaging!

Art Attack Summer Camp
This is a half-day camp (9:00am - 12:00pm) that runs Monday-Friday.
Rising 1st - 3rd grade artists will have the opportunity to dive into the art world, and explore a multitude of different mediums. From self-portraits, making rain sticks, learning watercolor techniques, and collaging… we’ll conquer it all!

Wearable Art Summer Camp
This is a half-day camp (from 9:00am - 12:00pm) that runs Monday-Friday.
Rising 4th - 8th grade artists will be able to design their own wearable art. We’ll start with some history of fashion design and look at examples of current and past fashion designers who are changing the game and introducing artistic pieces to their collections. Artists will spend time sketching and designing, before constructing their own wearable work of art!

Let’s learn all about print making! Artists in grades 4-8 will study some of the famous Japanese print makers and create their own print out of a rubber block!

Artists in grades pre-K-2nd will get the chance to read about a one-of-a-kind elephant, an artist who covered everything in dots, and learn that art exists everywhere! They will spend their morning creating three different art projects that go along with each story.
